Please note that the standard alkaline batteries marked thus *, unlike our other batteries, can be bought cheaper in the high street. For example, in the Spring / Summer 2000 Index catalogue 4 Rayovac LR3 are priced at £2.90; 4 Rayovac LR6, £2.49; and Rayovac 6LF22, £2.95 . You may feel that the convenience of our service in these few cases is worth the small extra price but at least we mention this so you can source them cheaper if you wish.
